Mom Comes Up With Incredibly Catchy Potty Training Song For Her Two-Year-Old Girl!

A mother-of-two from Alabama has come up with a extremely catchy potty training song in an effort to help her little girl use the bathroom on her own.

Stacia Wright from Washington D.C. came up with the upbeat rhyme in the hope her little girl, Ginneh, who is just two-years-old, would become potty train confident.

But she had no idea that after she posted the video on Facebook it would go viral.

Mom Stacia Wright decided to capture her song and post it online thinking that moms and dads who are in a similar position might find her tune useful.

After recording herself and daughter Ginneh performing the song, it has so far been viewed more than 820,000 times on Facebook.

Staci says she also decided to record her song ‘Potty Time’ so that little Ginneh would be able to watch the song anytime she liked.

The adorable little girl is the first one to speak in the video as she announces the title of the song she calls ‘Poo-poo in the potty’.

In the video Stacia begins the catchy little number with some very precise instructions for her little girl. ‘You gotta tell mommy when you need to pee. Tell mommy when you need poop.’

The hilarious line repeats several times before further instructions are provided by the enthusiastic mom.

‘We gotta pee-pee – in the potty. We gotta poo-poop – in the potty. And then you get a prize!’

The funny song lasts for about a minute as both Stacia and her daughter dance around the room.

The little girl points to the potty on cue and even knows exactly when to recite her own lines.

But despite Stacia’s best efforts and her creative song, little Ginneh has not yet been able to use the potty on her own.

‘This potty training has made me delirious I think,’ Stacia wrote on Facebook. ‘If only she would actually follow the instructions [of the song].’

The pair will just have to settle on being Internet sensations for now!
