Supermodel Chanel Iman Engaged To NFL Star Sterling Shepard

A huge congratulations goes out to Chanel Iman and her beau Sterling Shepard!

The couple announced their engagement on Saturday.

The supermodel and the NFL player have been dating since January. Both stars took to Instagram to declare their undying love for one another.

They each posted a copy of the same photo, which shows Sterling down on one knee asking for Chanel’s hand in marriage.

Chanel, 27, stands before Sterling, 24, in a white feathery coat and dark skinny jeans, covering her mouth in surprise.

Romantic candles are laid out all around the twosome. 

In her Instagram post, the Victoria’s Secret model couldn’t help but gush about her husband to be.

‘A night full of tears of happiness. I’m beyond excited to spend the rest of my life with you @sterl_shep3 you are my soulmate, my best friend, my everything!’

‘Can’t wait to be your Mrs.,’ she wrote, before finishing off the post with a diamond and diamond ring emoji.

Sterling’s own post was shorter, but made his feelings clear: ‘the catch of my dreams…can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you!’

The sportsman certainly chose a memorable day to pop the question, as Chanel celebrated her 27th birthday only one day before.

Sterling will be returning to the field on Sunday for the New York Giants.

He’s been operating as one of the leading wide receivers since star Odell Beckham Jr. was struck down by injury earlier in the season.

Since confirmed their relationship in January, Chanel and Sterling have been inseparable. 

The couple spent several weeks on a romantic vacation through Dubai, Egypt, Morocco, and the Maldives earlier in the year.
