She Was Abandoned After She Was Born Without A Skull – Now She Has A Place To Call Home

A baby who was born blind and without a skull, is having the chance at a new lease of life after being cared for by a Buddhist monk.

Eight-month-old Nurafaiha, from Sayaburi in Thailand, is so poorly she can only eat food through a tube.

Monk Bhin and his foundation highlighted the tragic little girl’s plight on social media.

Through the kind hearts of generous donors from around the world money is beginning to come in for the little girl’s hospital bills.

The Ruamkatanyu Foundation in Bangkok is well known for their good works in assisting poor families with special needs children.

Nurafaiha will need regular hospital treatment and, in the future, several hugely costly operations on her face and skull.

 

Little Nurafaiha was born with a cleft lip and pallet as well has having no skull and is blind.

Her disabilities have proved challenging for her family and they couldn’t afford to raise her.

Monk Bhin has so far been able to raise 200,000 Thai baht ($5,000) from the foundation funds and individuals who have responded to his Facebook appeals to help little Nurafaiha.
