Meghan is an animal person and she absolutely loves dogs!
Markle’s first dog, Bogart is currently staying with close friends in Canada while the other came to join her in the UK.
The beagle, Guy, who moved along with Markle when she relocated to London to live with Prince Harry, is receiving treatment at a medical facility in Surrey for broken legs.
There has not been any concrete information about how the dog was injured but the news was announced late in November after the couple announced their engagement.

Guy is reportedly receiving treatment from the TV vet Professor Noel Fitzpatrick, who specializes in neuro-orthopedic surgery and has starred in the UK series ‘The Bionic Vet’ and ‘The Supervet’.
Professor Noel Fitzpatrick is a specialist neuro-orthopedic Irish veterinary surgeon best known for his work in small animal practice.
Prince Harry who accompanied his fiancée to visit Guy in the hospital told Daily Mail that Markle was very ‘upset and distraught’ about her dog’s injuries.

Markle spoke about how she got her first dog, Bogart which was rescued.
She said she adopted the Labrador-shepherd named Bogart, after a chance meeting with Ellen DeGeneres and her wife, Portia de Rossi, at an animal shelter.
Markle said
“I’m sitting there holding him and she’s like ‘Have you thought of a name for him yet?’ And I said ‘Well, I think I’d name him Bogart’ and she’s like ‘You’re taking the dog home”
She continued
‘And then Ellen walks outside to get into her car but instead of getting in she turns around and comes and taps on the window glass and she yells ‘Take the dog!’. And so I brought him home. Because Ellen told me to.’
Markle adopted Guy shortly afterward but she decided to leave Bogart in Canada with friends when she finished working on ‘Suits’ and moved to the U.K.
Many people are speculating that it was probably because the dog was too old to travel.
She talked about the dogs during her first joint interview with Prince Harry hours after they announced their engagement.
