Serena Williams Shows Baby Daughter Old Tennis Videos As She Prepares To Make Her Competitive Comeback

Serena Williams has had a hell of year. 

She was six weeks pregnant when she won the Australian Open in January.

The legend took some time off from her Olympic-winning tennis career, following the birth of her daughter Alexis Olympia.

Then, last month she married the man of her dreams, Alexis Ohanian, 34, co-founder and executive chairman of social news website Reddit.

The proud mom shared with fans sweet Snapchats of her three-month-old baby girl as she celebrated Christmas Eve. 

The tiny tot, who the couple call by her middle name Olympia, was seen intently watching her mommy play tennis.

Little Olympia was quite happy in her baby chair as she viewed the old videos on the TV.

Serena also shared an Instagram snap of herself holding her little cutie with a filter of Christmas ponsetia garlands in their hair. 

Serena tied the knot with her husband, Alexis on November 16 in New Orleans, just 10 weeks after welcoming their daughter into the world.

Their star-studded wedding saw A-List celebrities in attendance.

Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, Ciara and Kim Kardashian West were among the guests.

Meanwhile, the new mom is planning her return to professional tennis.

Serena will be back on the court at the Mubadala World Tennis Championship in Abu Dhabi.

She is due to face off against French Open champion Jelena Ostapenko next Saturday. 

 

‘I am delighted to be returning to the court in Abu Dhabi for the first time since the birth of my daughter in September,’ Serena told the tournament’s website.
