Bishop T.D. Jakes also serves as executive producer on the film set to premiere on January 27 at 8pm.
Faith Under Fire also stars Yaya DaCosta as 911 operator Kendra McKay.
Malik Yoba stars as Lieutenant Franklin and Shalaby Omar as Antoinette’s son Derrick.
Meanwhile, the R&B diva has also been busy making new music.
Braxton released Deadwood, the lead single from her upcoming album Sex and Cigarettes, in September.
The singer who is dating music mogul Birdman said: ‘I feel like I’m older, I wanna say what I feel,’ she told The Insider about her upcoming 2018 release.
‘I don’t wanna be censored.’
