Who didn’t love Barney when they were a kid?
You loved him and he loved you. I kinda wish there was a Sesame Street/Barney crossover.
Can you imagine Elmo and Barney together? That would be hashtag BFF goals for sure!
But, alas, our childhood dreams are over.
Our beloved Barney the Dinosaur – or at least the man who played him – is now a tantric sex guru.
David Joyner enjoys having sex with his female only clients without a condom.
The 54-year-old played the purple dinosaur between 1991 and 2001, on the PBS children’s show Barney & Friends.
Today, Joyner has hung up his big purple suit.
To say his new career is a world away from his previous job is a pretty big understatement.
Joyner says his work as a tantric sex guru “unites his clients’ mind, body and spirt.”
Through tantric massage he aims to “unblock that energy.”
Joyner explains: ‘When the lingam [penis] and the yoni [vagina] meet, there’s a certain energy that takes place that hands on the body alone cannot create,’ he said.
‘Even through G-spot massage, it’s still not the same energy that flows.’
Sex, according to Barney, I mean, Joyner should be unprotected. He believes condoms ‘block the energy’.
Before he ploughs his clients, the spiritualist provides his STD test results to prospective clients.
They are also asked to sign a form and disclose any STDs they may have.
Joyner also has a tantric approach to oral sex.
‘When you go down on a woman (orally), it should be just like you’re saying grace, like blessing the food you’re about to receive,’ he said. ‘
No food in the world can compare to goddess nectar because spirit is involved.’
The man innocent children once looked up to charges $350 for a full tantric massage session.
For the fee you will receive a ritual bath, chakra balancing, a massage and orgasms.
Joyner says he mostly meets potential ‘clients’ on Tinder.

Before his big break as a purple dinosaur, Joyner worked as a software analyst at Texas Instruments.
He says he discovered tantric sex in the 1980s, at age 20, while training as a masseuse.
He later landed the job as Barney in 1991.
But he was warned by the show’s attorneys not to teach, practice, or talk about tantra while under contract with them.
But the former kids star said he ignored their warnings and continued to practice sexual spirituality in secret.
Joyner performs tantric massage on two to four women – who he refers to as ‘goddesses’ every week.
Meanwhile Barney’s cast and crew were stunned to learn of Joyner’s career choice.
Stephen White, head writer on the show from 1992 to 2005, says he was ‘surprised’ but admitted Joyner had always been ‘a very spiritual guy.’
‘David was eccentric and wonderful and into things that I wouldn’t have been privy to given my age at the time,’ Leah Montes, who played ‘Luci’ from age 9 to 15 on the show told Vice.
