Hip-hop star Young Thug has come under fire after a heart stopping video was recorded of his underage daughter driving a car.
The young girl – who’s reported to be under the age of 10 – can barely see over the dashboard as she drives down a down a public road.
The 20 second clip has no sound as the youngster drives without a seatbelt on.
At one point, a woman’s hand reaches over to realign the wheel of the luxury vehicle Lincoln car. The tiny child then continues to drive down an empty residential street in Georgia.
According to TMZ, the female passenger is the girl’s mother, but Young Thug was not in the car at the time.
He has since responded to the criticizm levelled against him and vehemently denies having any involvement.
“Never would I put my child’s life in danger nor anyone else’s life. I am out of town and that video is clearly in Atlanta,” the Best Friend artist wrote on Instagram.
“I am a very safe man, especially when it comes down to my kids. I am very smart, last thing I’m looking for is clout/fame I have both.”
“Plus she wouldn’t dare even ask me could she drive a car…But it’ll be handled ‘expeditiously.’ You people must get smarter than you are to think I’m anywhere near such thing.”
The video was first posted to The Shade Room’s Instagram page and has since racked up more than 2.2 million views.
Actor/Singer Tyrese and former NBA player Matt Barnes have been quick to call out the 27-year-old rapper and his family’s parenting methods.
