Dallas Family Jailed After Stomping On Pregnant 13-Year-Old Until She Miscarried After She Was Attacked By Her Brother

Your family are meant to love and protect you.

But instead a 13-year-old girl lived through a nightmare little of us could ever imagine.

The victim – who has not been named for legal reasons – became pregnant and had her baby viciously stomped out of her stomach by her family.

The brutal attack led to the young woman miscarrying in her eighth month of pregnancy. Shockingly, the father of her baby was her own brother.

But thankfully, there has been some justice in the case. The young woman’s family have been sentenced to lengthy prison sentences.

According to The Dallas Morning News, the victim, now 19, was attacked in 2013.

Sharon Jones, 47, was sentenced to 12 years; her daughter, Cecila McDonald, 28, was sentenced to seven years; and her 29-year-old son, Cedric Jones Jr, was sentenced to five years in prison.

Each of the cruel gang plead guilty to felony family violence aggravated assault.

Another man, Lonnell McDonald, received 10 years in prison in 2016 after being convicted of aggravated assault in the attack.

The victim’s brother, 24-year-old Robert Cayald, faces an aggravated sexual assault charge in the case.

But last year he was found incompetent to stand trial and his case is still pending.

Cayald is accused of raping his 13-year-old sister in August 2012, which resulted in her pregnancy.

The young victim and her baby sister had been sent to Dallas after their grandmother died.

They sisters lived with their aunt Sharon Jones.

But later the victim and two of her siblings moved into her cousin Cecila McDonald’s apartment.

This is also where Lonnell McDonald and Cayald also lived.

The 19-year-old testified in court that she told McDonald and Jones that Cayald had sexually abused McDonald’s three young children.

McDonald then ‘became very nervous’ that CPS would take away her children if they learned that the teen was pregnant and Cayald was living with her, according to an affidavit.

McDonald and Cayald first forced the teen to take birth control pills and cinnamon tablets to try to abort the baby.

But when that didn’t work, they held down the teen and took turns stomping on her pregnant belly.

During the attack, McDonald yelled at the teen, ‘B***h, you ain’t about to get my kids taken away from me.’

‘They held her down. They forced her to lay there while people stomped her,’ prosecutor Rachel Burris argued.

The baby was stillborn and placed in a five-gallon bucket. The evil family then tried to burn the remains on a grill.

When they were unsuccessful, Jones gave her son $25 to dispose of the body. He hid the remains in a bag in an unknown location.

Defense attorneys for the trio argued that the attack was a ‘small mark’ on otherwise law abiding citizens.

They said the defendants had been part of Bible studies and classes in jail and should be granted leniency.

But prosecutor Rachel Burris argued the defendants hid the evil they were truly capable of.

‘Most people would treat strangers better,’ Burris said. ‘Yet these people did it to someone they promised to love.’
