It’s been a strange turn of events.
Love & Hip Hop star Brittney Taylor has been ordered to away from the woman she allegedly beat.
It comes just weeks after Taylor claimed she was attacked by castmate Remy Ma, whose real name is Reminisce Smith.
A judge in New York has signed off on a temporary order of protection against the 4″11 aspiring rap star. The restraining order will stay in effect through December 14.
According to cops, Brittney hurled a cell phone at Dina Khalil in her luxury Manhattan apartment complex.
Taylor began arguing with Khalil around 6:45 a.m., when Taylor allegedly scratched her. Taylor then allegedly followed Khalil to the lobby and threw a cell phone at her face.
The reality star was arrested at the scene and charged with assault. She is now facing charges of her own — for attacking a witness, according to Page Six.
The reality TV star and up-and-coming rapper hit the headlines in April after accusing Remy Ma of hitting her in the right eye.
The incident allegedly took place at the “Pretty Lou Benefit Concert” at Irving Plaza on April 16, police said at the time.
Remy Ma turned herself in on May 1 and was charged with third-degree assault.
Now Ma’s civil lawyer, Eric Sanders, has raised concerns about Taylor’s arrest.
“Obviously this arrest creates a major credibility issue for the prosecution and [Taylor’s lawyer in the case] Mr. Rubenstein to contend with,” Sanders said in a statement to the Post. “Either way, we intend to continue pressing forward to ensuring Remy is totally vindicated.”
But Taylor’s civil attorney, Sanford Rubenstein, has replied back stating, “The arrest of Brittney Taylor does not in any way change the facts of the assault of Brittney Taylor for which Remy Ma is being prosecuted by the Manhattan district attorney.”
