He was a widely respected Grammy-nominated rapper.
But for 10-year-old Emani Asghedom, he was just her loving and devoted dad.
Nipsey Hussle’s young daughter paid tribute to her late father in a short speech at her elementary school graduation.
Emani thanked her much missed father for always being there for her at the ceremony on Saturday.
The grieving young girl also gave a shoutout to her mom for “believing in her.”
Hussle, 33, was gunned down outside a Marathon clothing store in Los Angeles in March.
He tragically died after being rushed to hospital.
“I want to begin by sharing my thankfulness for my mom for believing in me, and my dad, for always being there for me,” Asghedom said in her posted speech on social media.
Her family cheered as Emani proudly walked up on to the stage at her Los Angeles school wearing her cap and gown.

After her speech she was spotted posing for photos with her aunt, Samantha, and her toddler brother Kross.
“Baby girl growing up,” wrote Smith underneath a photo of them smiling.
Hussle’s younger sibling has recently filed a petition to become her niece’s legal guardian. Smith has been looking after the child since her father’s death in March.
A judge in Los Angeles ruled in May in a closed hearing that Emani will continue to live with her aunt, TMZ reported.
