Prince Harry And The Duchess Of Sussex Share Their Favorite Quote From Princess Diana

Her philanthropy and style made her an international icon.

Now the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have paid tribute to Princess Diana on their Instagram page.

Prince Harry, 34, and Meghan Markle, 37, selected a quote from the late member of the British royal family.

The post speaks about “random acts of kindness” said to be the first in a series of inspirational posts the couple will share. 

The quote, printed under Harry and Meghan’s entwined ‘HM’ monogram, reads:

“Carry out a random act of kindness, with no expectation of reward, safe in the knowledge that one day someone might do the same for you.”

“Words have the power to inspire, which is why we’re happy to share some of our favourite quotes,” the caption reads.

“From members of the public to public figures, from teachers and students to young leaders, we begin with a quote from Diana, Princess of Wales.”

The quote is one of Princess Diana’s most well known and frequently used quotes. 

It was immediately met with praise by delighted followers, who thanked the couple for “carrying forward” Diana’s legacy. 

“Meghan and Harry you’re making the world a better place,” one follower wrote. “Very proud and I stand with you,” another user wrote.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have become active users of Instagram since launching their independent account in April. 

Meghan recently made her debut on the red carpet after giving birth to Princess Diana’s grandchild, Archie. 

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the European premiere of The Lion King. There they met rap mogul Jay-Z and singing superstar Beyoncé, who stars in the film.

Meghan was seen embracing Beyoncé, who declared her love for the couple before telling the Duchess of Sussex her new baby son Archie was “so beautiful.”

The Grammy – winning artists also offered the royals parenting advice, telling them  to “always find time for themselves.”
