Tia Mowry Confirms Sister, Sister Reboot Is ‘Closer Than Ever’

I feel so blessed that I grew up in the 90’s watching Sister, Sister.

Even now and then I’ll catch an episode on Youtube and it’s still as funny and timeless as ever.

Now one half of the troublesome but lovable double act, Tia Mowry, has confirmed Sister, Sister reboot is looking more achievable than ever.

The actress, who starred on the Nickelodeon TV show with her identical twin sister Tamara between 1994 and 1999, told Entertainment Tonight that any day now we could be hearing that famous theme song.

And we couldn’t be more excited!

“I will say this, we are definitely closer than ever,” said Tia. “That’s basically all I can say. But I’m getting excited.”

The married mom-of-one also confirmed the reappearance of Jackée Harry and Tim Reid – who played the sisters’ mom and dad – during the interview.

Tia added that she wants the reboot series to pick up 18 years after the series finale and see the sisters married with kids, but still focus on “the power of sisterhood”.

Sister, Sister – never knew how much I missed ya!
