Wendy Williams Finally Confirms Estranged Husband Kevin Hunter Had A Baby On Her

Talk show queen Wendy Williams has remained dignified amidst her messy divorce. 

But on Tuesday, the 54-year-old confirmed her estranged husband Kevin Hunter had a baby behind her back. 

In a candid interview with The New York Times Magazine, Williams spoke about her husband of 21 years fathering a daughter with massage therapist Sharina Hudson. 

Hudson and Hunter allegedly had an affair for 10 years, according to the Daily Mail.

“I never thought that I would be in this position. I’m a very forgiving person, but there’s one thing that I could never be a part of, and that one thing happened,” Williams explained in the interview.

When asked what that “one thing’ is, Williams said frankly, “Kevin has a daughter.”

“Kevin had a major indiscretion that he will have to deal with for the rest of his life. An indiscretion that I will not deal with,” she stated in no uncertain terms.

The pair share a 19-year-old son, Kevin Jr, which is why Williams refuses to cut him out of her life completely.

“He will always be my family, because we have a 19-year-old son, and we were together for 25 years and married for 21. But there was no vacillating. I’m out.” 

“That’s all I can say. People want me to hate and scream and talk. I won’t.”

She also admitted the breakdown of her marriage led her back to drug taking. The veteran broadcaster later admitted on her show that she was moving into a sober house. 

“I knew what was about to happen, and I was like, Let me go someplace where you’re not allowed to have the whole bottle of wine. Cocaine has been off my map for years. I don’t take pills. I wasn’t doing anything off the wagon,” she detailed. 

Williams has been open about her cocaine abuse in the past. 

“My husband was about to have a baby, and I knew that I was about to divorce. I knew that there would be headlines. I had to process it so that once I came out, I came out on top,” she added.  

 

On August 6, Williams brushed on her family situation briefly on Sirius XM’s Sway in the Morning radio show.

“You either in or you are out with me. I still have love for him and I wish him the best in his new life with his new family,” she said. 

Later in the interview, Wendy revealed that although she will not “throw Big [Kevin] under the bus” on her upcoming comedy tour. But she is still going full steam ahead with their divorce.
