Wendy Watchers rejoiced yesterday after their talk show queen came back to their screens.
Wendy Williams returned to her television show after taking a five-week hiatus to make way for the Women’s World Cup.
The 54-year-old waved for the cameras as she arrived at the Wendy Studios in New York City on Monday morning wearing a hot-pink ensemble.
The talk-show host looked youthful in a tight-fitting black dress as she made her comeback to her show on Monday morning.
She paired the plunging lace number with a bright pink tulle coat that cut off just below her knees.
The talk show veteran teamed the extravagant ensemble with a simple pair of white sneakers.
A lover of accessories, Williams rocked a pair of sunglasses and carried two black purses on her arm – one of which was a large Chanel bag.
Wendy wore a simple silver pendant around her neck and several bangles on her wrist.
Speaking on the show for the first time in about five weeks, Wendy sensationally revealed she is “not on the market.”
She revealed that she is dating a doctor who she is “crazy about.”
“I’m not on the market anymore. I’m not in love. I don’t know how I’m doing. I’m not in love but there’s somebody that I’m crazy about,” Williams told her excited studio audience.
Williams filed the a petition to divorce her husband of more than 20 years, Kevin Hunter, in New Jersey in April.
The TV host also addressed her relationship with Marc Tomblin, 27, who she was seen with last month.
“It’s not who you think. OK? Mother doesn’t deal with children, but it just so happens that I guess with my charm and wit I attract people of all ages,” she added.
The talk show host went on to say that, “27-year-old boys, quite frankly, find me attractive.”
She added: “I get it, but when it comes time for the comfort of a man I need someone in his 50s, too, and he’s gotta work.”
“It helps that he’s a doctor. He’s been married. His kids are in their 20s, and yes he’s black. He’s brown-black.”
DailyMail.com revealed that Marc is a convicted felon – having served two years in prison in for robbery with a dangerous weapon.
However for Williams, he is just a dear friend.
The mom-of-one also revealed she has lymphedema, a chronic condition that causes swelling in the body’s tissues.
“So Marc is new to New York and he’s having panic attacks,” Williams said.
“I’m unsteady on my feet. I’ve got the vertigo. And lymphedema, by the way. I’ve been diagnosed,” she admitted.
“He’s from LA. He came to New York. He had never been to New York before,” Wendy continued. “Skyscrapers and everything. I’m a hand holder. If we go out I’m holding your hand.”
Wendy also said that her family is “doing fine.” Her 18-year-old son Kevin Hunter Jr., last month pleaded not guilty in a New Jersey courtroom to assaulting his father Kevin Hunter Sr.
The teenager allegedly punched his father in the face during an altercation in a parking lot in New Jersey in May.
Since the alleged assault, Wendy’s soon-to-be ex-husband has said he doesn’t want to press charges.
