Beyonce Releases New Song, Pledges To Donate Proceeds To Relief Efforts In Caribbean And Mexico

R&B legend Beyonce has been working hard behind the scenes in the wake of the devastating hurricanes in U.S and the Caribbean.

Now the ‘Formation’ singer has added her vocals to singer J Balvin’s bi-lingual hit Mi Gente.

The remix dropped on Beyonce’s official website Thursday. Just like the release of her hit album ‘Lemonade’ their was no prior warning to fans beforehand.

The 36-year-old mom-of-three celebrated her latest release with a series of bright photographs.

Along with a link to the YouTube video of her new collab, Bey wrote on her website: ‘I am donating my proceeds from this song to hurricane and earthquake relief charities for Puerto Rico, Mexico and other affected Caribbean islands.’

The original version of the song without Beyonce has stalled at number 19 on the Hot 100 chart.

Fans will have to wait until Monday to see if her Queen Bey’s vocals give the song a boost. But with her star power and such a worthy cause it’s hard to see why not.
