It looks like the Hollywood Industry isn’t done with Harvey Weinstein yet.
Last year, in September the sixty-three-year-old was disgraced after various actresses spoke out against him.
The former entertainment and film mogul was accused of sexually harassing countless women over the course of his career.
Disgraced and embattled, Harvey Weinstein resigned from his The Weinstein Studios and has largely reduced his public appearances.
Until now.
The disgraced film producer and director is in the news once again.
Harvey Weinstein was slapped twice in the face in a restaurant in Arizona on Tuesday.
The whole incident was captured on camera by a friend of the man who slapped Harvey Weinstein.
A first glance at the video would easily show that the man who hit Harvey seemed to have planned the stunt.
The perpetrator of the act who has been identified as Steve was even captured smiling as he backhanded Harvey twice.
It had initially been reported by TMZ that Weinstein was punched in the face, but video of the incident made it clear that was not the case.
This comes after actress Rose McGowan announced that she could lose her house due to legal fees.
Rose McGowan was one of the actresses who came out against Harvey Weinstein.
She revealed that she has had to pay astronomical sums to deal with the backlash from speaking out against Harvey.
Harvey Weinstein was wearing a black beanie and a soiled Gray T-shirt for his dinner at Elements restaurants when the incidence happened.
The incidence took place at the Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort where the restaurant is based.
According to reports, the pair had not exchanged any words prior to the incidence.
It is believed that the slaps were a form of backlash due to Harvey Weinstein’s sexual allegations.
The video of the incident was reportedly being shopped around for $100,000.
The assailant can be seen laughing while he hits Weinstein, while his friends can be also be seen grinning too at the start of the video.
One of those friends sits at the table while the other holds the phone to record the scene.
After the slaps, the video showed Harvey’s sober coach running in to intervene.
The sober coach quickly ushered his client past him and then held up his hands to prevent the men from filming any more of the scene.
At one point, he also tried to grab the camera.
The manager of the restaurant did reveal that Harvey and Steve had an initial run-in.
The manager claimed that Steve was angry with Weinstein after he refused a request earlier in the evening to have his photo taken.
At this point, it is unclear as to whether Harvey had filed a police report.
McGowan, who came out against Weinstein said that she was raped at the Sundance Film Festival in 1997.
Although, the New York Times reported last year that she received a $100,000 settlement in the wake of the incident.
That settlement did not require her to sign a non-disclosure paving the way for her coming out twenty years later.
