She’s the lucky who stole Idris Elba’s heart.
On February 10 Sabrina Dhowre became one step closer to becoming Mrs. Elba.
The Luther star proposed to the former beauty queen live on-stage during a screening of his new movie Yardie.
His 29-year-old fiancée shared a romantic pre-Valentines Day tribute to her man Tuesday, expressing how lucky she feels to have found him.
Posting a snap to Instagram of the engaged pair enjoying a romantic dinner, the former Miss Vancouver gushed:
‘Baby! I can’t tell you enough how happy you make me and how lucky I feel to have found a love like this, you make my heart feel so full.’
‘I love you. Forever will always feel to short.#imsuchacheeseball @idriselba’.
In the snap Idris, 45, looked handsome in a blue and black panelled jumper as he sweetly held onto his forever love’s hand over the table.
Sabrina looked chic in a sheer white blouse, with black trim.
Herr brown tresses were styled sleek and straight with a bang across her forehead.
The online show of affection comes three days after Idris got down on one knee and proposed to Sabrina.
The Obsessed actor asked Sabrina to be his wife during a packed screening at the Rio cinema, Dalston, East London.
The cinema announced the news on its Twitter page, writing: “Another @riocinema first!’
‘Still 5 days to Valentines Day but @idriselba went down on one knee and proposed to his girlfriend live on stage this morning before a preview of his film #Yardie.’
‘She said yes and there was much clapping and cheering.’
The proposal came as a shock to Idris’s legion of female fans, after the actor/DJ claimed marriage was off the cards just six months ago.
Elba has been divorced twice.
Idris and Sabrina made their red carpet debut as a couple in September 2017.
The newly engaged lovebirds were said to have been dating for seven months before going public.
Elba told ESSENCE magazine in July 2017: ‘Am I ever gonna get remarried? I don’t think so. Yeah, I don’t think so.”
Marriage is an institution of sorts. And I’ve done it. It’s not for everybody. It’s not my life’s calling.’
