I thought I was Beyonce’s biggest fan. But this man literally worships at the altar of Beyonce.
Nigerian man Walter Shakespearean Ude has taken to social media to declare that he literally worships Queen Bey.
Walter says that he used to be Christian, but now identifies as a member of a church that he calls “The Church of our Lord Beyzus.”
Walter’s hymn to Bey is a revision of a song that is sung by some Christians.
However, Walter changed up the lyrics to focus on his love for the Lord Beyonce.
Walter’s song includes the lyrics, “She has given me victory, I will lift Her higher, Be-yon-cé, I will lift Her higher! Yes, I’m back to worshipping in the church of our Lord Beyzus.”
Other lyrics in the song are “What? Y’all thought I was going to last in the house of God? When my original calling lies with this goddess?”
After getting dragged online, Walter blasted blogs for not reaching out to him for an exclusive.
He revealed that he has a regular church service with “prominent people” coming out to worship Beyonce.
Well, to be fair, I do have a host of questions. Do congregation members receive the Beycharist?
