Snoop Dogg’s Infant Grandson Kai Love Tragically Passes Away In Hospital 10 Days After His Birth

Legendary rapper Snoop Dogg and his family have announced the tragic loss of his infant grandson, Kai Love.

The precious little baby boy died on September 25th, just 10 days after being born. The baby’s father 25-year-old Corde Broadus made the heartbreaking announcement on social media.

Broadus shared a heartbreaking video of his son swaddled in a hospital blanket on Thursday.

Broadus shared the video for his 41k followers and showed his late son being cradled by his mother in the neonatal intensive care unit.

In a sweet and gut wrenching moment, Corde’s toddler named Eleven gives her baby brother a tender kiss.

Loved ones are heard in the background crying and saying their final goodbyes to the deceased infant. 

In the caption, Corde wrote: “Kai Love 9/15/19 – 9/25/19.”

“My Son Kai brought so much love and positivity into this world. His energy will live on and these 10 days of love will always be special to us.”

“Let’s all cherish life and those we love while we are here. Thank you.”

Corde, who is Snoop’s eldest child, also shared a photo of the sign outside of the hospital room. 

It read: “Wed 9/25 // Kai Love // Love + Light.”

Corde has two older children – son, Zion, and daughter Eleven. A cause of death for Kai has not yet been released by the family. 

So far, Snoop, whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., has not commented on his grandson’s death.

But his wife Shante has expressed her grief on social media. Shante shared a video of herself as she she tearfully sang the song The Love We Had Stays On My Mind by The Dells.

She captioned the video: “Thank You For All Your Well Wishes I See And Feel Them All.” 

Shante also shared a video of her dancing to Anita Baker.
