Legendary actress Angela Bassett never seems to age.

But the What’s Love Got To Do With It star recently admitted that she’s had some minor cosmetic procedures. 

The 61-year-old opened up about her beauty secrets to New Beauty magazine in an interview published Thursday.

Bassett told the magazine: “I know lashes are no surprise! Botox is no surprise!”

“I’m a big supporter of being natural, but I’ve done it twice. Just a little bit, not too much – I still need to express myself.”

The mom-of-two also revealed that she’s tried Ultherapy in the past. The revolutionary technology uses ultrasound to lift and tighten the skin.

“I’m pretty passionate about keeping up with the skin care, especially being in front of the camera and on the stage,” she maintains. 

“It’s important. When I’m not on stage or on camera, I’m pretty sans makeup – I think it’s good to keep a clear, clean fresh palette.”

The Oscar-nominated actress, who is married to fellow actor Courtney B Vance, also paid homage to her aestheticians and dermatologist – along with a collection of luxury serums.

Meanwhile on the acting front, Bassett is busier as ever.

She recently began work on feature film Gunpowder Milkshake, which she said will be “strong and powerful for women.” The film which is set to be released next year also stars Game of Thrones actress Lena Headey. 

And at the beginning of fall, she’ll reprise her role on popular Fox drama 9-1-1. It’s a project she calls “a feature film every week.” 

The Set It Off actress is also mom to 13-year-old twins Bronwyn and Slater.
