Carmelo Anthony’s Yacht Companion Is Revealed As The Former NBA Star Denies Cheating On LaLa

NBA All-Star, Carmelo Anthony, found himself with a lot of explaining to do, after he was spotted lounging on a yacht with a mystery woman. 

The married father was caught out in a series of damning paparazzi photos, obtained by TMZ.

Now it can be revealed that the woman in question is believed to be model and actress Sara Smiri.

The 35-year-old basketball player has denied rumors that he was cheating on his wife La La Anthony, 36, claiming the woman in question was married.

Anthony claims he was on a business trip with Sara’s husband. 

But several gossip blogs, including the website Rapped Out claim 28-year-old Sara is not married. 

The celebrity news site Blackish Tea also stated that she is not married. 

The up-and-coming model, who is believed to be of Swedish and Moroccan heritage, made her Instagram account private overnight amid the backlash. 

Sara has modeled for small brands in Morocco and Sweden. She appears to run in celebrity circles and is followed by Meek Mill. 

Sources say Sara and Carmelo met in Paris, France.

The former Houston Rockets star was in the City of Lights for the men’s shows at Paris Fashion Week.

He was seen attending the Berluti catwalk event last Friday. 

The mystery woman was first believed to be Carmelo’s alleged baby mama.

But 24-year-old Mia Angel Burks took to Instagram Stories to debunk the theory. 

“N****s out here explaining how they’re laid up on a boat with ‘another man’s wife’ BUT can’t explain why they can’t spend time with their daughter,” she wrote.  

Carmelo and his actress wife La La split briefly in 2018. It came amid rumors he fathered a child with Mia named Genesis.  

The NBA star was seen lounging with model Sara on a massive yacht in southern France on Tuesday. He was spotted there while LaLa celebrated her 36th birthday in New York City. 

Carmelo addressed blog reports in a video to TMZ on Wednesday, saying that they are “affecting my family.”

“I’m really only addressing this for my family,’ he said. ‘Keep my family out this, man.”

He also condemned the blogs for dragging the woman’s family into the drama.

“Y’all trying to expose somebody’s wife,” he added. “Y’all exposing somebody’s kids. Leave that alone, man. That ain’t cool.”

“That’s not cool at all. Let that family be they family, they married.”

Carmelo continued: “The only reason I’m addressing this is because this is affecting my family now and you got me out here looking crazy. Usually I won’t address this, but I had to address this.”

“Can’t let this one slide, because this sh*t ain’t cool no more. Peace.'”

Even though Carmelo was quick to deny that he was cheating on his wife, LaLa is reportedly “a wreck over it,” a source told Page Six.   

“Even though they are still married they are still working on their marriage,” the source claimed. “She has trust issues, and she does not trust him fully. She is currently in therapy.”

La La fueled rumors of her husband’s alleged cheating when she shared a cryptic photo of a bleeding heart being stabbed on her Instagram stories. But she quickly deleted it.

Carmelo and La La have been married since 2010 and share a 12-year-old son named Kiyan.
