Kerry Washington Dazzles In Pink Floral Gown As She Promotes Final Season Of Scandal

Can you believe that after six thrilling seasons Scandal is coming to an end?

Star of the show, Kerry Washington, turned heads in two chic outfits whilst promoting the seventh and last series of the ABC drama on Good Morning America on Thursday.

The actress, 40, looked chic as she arrived at the Times Square studios in a pair of racy red thigh-high boots.

Washington teamed it with a textured black and white wool mini-dress.

The star completed the look with a black crocodile skin handbag and oversized Linda Farrow X N21 shades.

Then for her appearance on the morning television show, the mom-of-two looked effortlessly elegant in a multi-colored floral pencil dress.

On Wednesday, Kerry made her first-ever appearance on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert

The actress who stars as Olivia Pope on Scandal paired her pink rose-patterned golden bustier dress with matching Paul Andrew stilettos.

She paired it with a beige-and-red handbag selected by her stylist Joseph Cassell Falconer.

Hairdresser Takisha Sturdivant-Drew styled her raven locks into a partial ponytail while make-up artist Carola Gonzalez made the star’s face dewy and glowing. 

Meanwhile Kerry gushed about her Scandal castmates on GMA: ‘We are having so much fun because we know it’s our last season and we don’t want to leave anything on the table.’

She also explained how real world politics shaped how the ABC hit’s final season would end.

‘There used to be an ending that Shonda had in mind and then the real world of politics turned upside down,’ said the mom-of two. 

‘Who knows what it’s going to be now.’ 

But while Kerry wasn’t hiding her excitement about the political drama’s last season, she was sure to keep any and all spoilers to herself. 

In Scandal, Kerry plays shrewd crisis management expert Olivia Pope. 

The drama’s seventh and last season airs Thursday nights at 9pm on ABC.
