La La Anthony has split from husband Carmelo Anthony for the second time.
The Power actress, 36, is “considering legal options” her spokesman confirmed to People.
“As La La and Carmelo have been living apart for quite some time, La La is proceeding with legal discussions as the next step in their relationship,” her representative told the publication.
“They will remain loving and committed parents to their son,” the spokesperson added. The pair share son, Kiyan, 12.
The couple first split in April 2017, when it emerged that the former NBA star had allegedly cheated and had a baby daughter.
They later reunited in late 2018,
The news of the couple’s legal separation comes days after Carmelo was pictured on a yacht with a mystery woman.
The woman is believed to be Swedish Moroccan model Sara Smiri, 28. The two lounged together in France as La La celebrated her birthday in Manhattan.
But on Monday, La La shrugged off her husband’s absence, telling People on Monday he’d sent her presents.
“He’s overseas at Fashion Week. He sent me some nice gifts and posted something really nice, so I was appreciative,” La La said.
Anthony has denied rumors that he was cheating on his wife La La, claiming the woman in question was married.
Anthony claims he was on a business trip with Sara’s husband.
But several gossip blogs, including the website Rapped Out claim 28-year-old Sara is not married.
The celebrity news site Blackish Tea also stated that she is not married.
The up-and-coming model, who is believed to be of Swedish and Moroccan heritage, made her Instagram account private overnight amid the backlash.
Carmelo addressed blog reports in a video to TMZ on Wednesday, saying the rumors were “affecting my family.”
“I’m really only addressing this for my family,’ he said. ‘Keep my family out this, man.”
He also condemned the blogs for dragging model Sara Smiri into the drama.
“Y’all trying to expose somebody’s wife,” he added. “Y’all exposing somebody’s kids. Leave that alone, man. That ain’t cool.”
“That’s not cool at all. Let that family be they family, they married.”
